ReplyDeleteI recommend The Monstrumologist if you haven't read it yet. The characters are some of the best I've read in a while, and their interactions are hilarious. The story is suspenseful as well with really sharp writing. It is the best book that I have read all year and is one of my favorites now :)

I'd probably get Pegasus by Robin McKinley, but I'd also recommend Dragonsong by Anne McCaffrey. It's an old favorite of mine, and my middle grade son just read it and loved it as well.
